TMS Works Across Multiple Sites

The CPL Group offers recruitment, outsourcing and HR solutions to the public and private sectors and is the leading provider of permanent, contract, and temporary staff in Ireland.

CPL has been using Advance Systems' time and attendance software with web functionality, TMSDOTNET, since May 2005, with over 2000 staff on the system. CPL are also using Advance Systems' HR Manager Software as well as clocking terminals at some of its locations.

Kevin Delaney, the Financial Systems Manager and administrator of TMS at all of its client sites, explains: "As we have multiple clients each with their own individual needs we needed a system that could handle multiple different work rules. TMS is easy to manage across our multiple sites. When we get new clients, there is no problem adding their sites to TMS and creating additional TMS users within these new sites. The day-to-day use of TMS causes me no problems; it's relatively easy to add extra functionality including database tables, screens and panels.

"I deal with requests concerning TMS such as implementation of new client sites and additions to existing ones. This includes new fields, panels, reports and modifications to existing calculations. Mostly I can complete these requests; otherwise I get in touch with the Support Desk at Advance Systems who resolve the requests for me."

Improves Workflow and Processes

"We also use TMSDOTNET internally in some departments for requesting and approving holiday requests. This functionality is extremely useful as both managers and employees can view holiday entitlements and requests. This has definitely helped to improve workflow and processes by removing the need for spreadsheets and other forms of record keeping.

I find Advance Systems a very helpful and accommodating group of people to work with. I find the support team very helpful and friendly to deal with. The support we receive on a day-to-day basis is very good with all issues being resolved in a timely manner. With new site set-ups I find the engineers extremely knowledgeable, particularly on payroll requirements."

Flexible and Customisable
